Social Media Tools
Social media tools are the apps and services that help you plan, create, post or measure on social media, like a video editor, a link in bio tool or a scheduler. This group of our social media glossary will say what every tool is and who uses it, so you do not have to leave a guide to look a name up.
Social Media Tools in This Group
We are writing 18 entries in three kinds. Link in bio and creator store tools include Linktree, Beacons.ai, Campsite.bio, Hoo.be, Koji, Komi, Shorby and Stan Store. Video and AI tools include CapCut and OpenAI. Planning and reporting tools include Agorapulse, Buffer, CommentGuard, Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Statusbrew. Two general terms, influencer marketing software and URL shortener, name a type of tool and not a brand. Apps like BeReal, Twitch and WhatsApp sit in our social media apps and platforms group.
How We Describe a Social Media Tool
An entry will say what the tool does, who tends to use it and which platforms it works with. Tools change their features without notice, so every entry will show the date we last checked it. The glossary explains names. It does not rank them. For ranked lists and comparisons, go to our tools section as guides go live there.
We never present a mention as a recommendation. Our disclaimer covers our independence from every brand.
Paid and Affiliate Links
A paid or affiliate link is labelled as Sponsored and carries rel=sponsored. A sponsor cannot buy a place in an entry or change our test results. Our editorial policy sets out the rules and our advertising details show how sponsored posts work.

A tool is an app or a service that you use to plan, create, post or measure on social media, like a video editor, a link in bio tool or a scheduler.
Does Social Media Twist recommend these tools?
An entry says what a tool does and who uses it. A mention is not an endorsement. We are independent of every brand in this group.
Is this a list of top tools?
No. The glossary explains names and does not rank tools. Ranked lists and comparisons belong in our tools section.
How can I tell a paid link?
Look for the Sponsored label next to the link. Our editorial policy lists every rule for sponsored content and links.
