Our Rules for Sponsored Content

A paid guide gets the same treatment as every other guide on Social Media Twist, as set out in our editorial policy:

  • It carries a "Sponsored" label at the top.
  • Paid links use rel="sponsored".
  • Nothing is written until we have used your product ourselves.
  • The Twist is written by us and stays honest, even when the result is not what you hoped for.
  • You can check facts before publishing, but you cannot change our opinion or our test results.

Who We do Not Work With

We decline brands that could harm our readers or their accounts. That includes:

  • services that sell followers, likes, views or reviews
  • tools that break a platform's terms of service
  • gambling, adult content, CBD and payday loans
  • anything that asks readers for their social media password

How It Works

  1. Email us at connect@smtwist.com with your brand, product and the format you are interested in.
  2. We check the fit If your product suits our readers, we agree on the format, timing and price.
  3. We test and write We use your product ourselves, then write the guide in our own words.
  4. It goes live with a clear label. If a newsletter mention was part of the deal, it follows once the newsletter is live.
